Sesame Ginger Winter Squash and Cabbage

If you have some cabbage and winter squash in need of some loving, this is a good start! The combination of squash and cabbage is great with the zip of ginger. The sweetness of a caramelized onion adds to the mix. I’m not convinced of the sesame’s role, (this one remains on the drawing board) but we are on our way!


BBQ Stuffed Rolls with Sausage and Cabbage

Sausage and other farm ingredients stuffed in a bread roll. What could be better? If taking a short cut, using refrigerator biscuits does work. These make a quick and tasty treat and the ingredients are flexible, something that’s a wonderful bonus when working with CSA ingredients.

Got apricot preserves? This dip is a change of pace from hummus or a ranch dip. It’s healthy and flavorful and great for pita triangles. With just a few ingredients and some spices you will be surprised with the his one, and I bet it goes into your rotation of go to’s for a party.
