Nashoba Brook Bakery was serving up it’s wonderfully hearty and delicious breads on the field. The story of their bakery is another that has started from friendship (John and Stu) an idea, and a whole lot of passion for food (namely bread). Since 1998 they have been bringing fresh bread to our neighborhood and beyond. I’ve been the only one of us on the blog to be able to cook with it (due to Sarah running the gluten-free household) but it really makes the meal! Recently we enjoyed Bruschetta and French Toast made with their fabulous baguette.
Recipes Using Bread
Sarah whipped this dinner together on the fly, but it turned out to be noteworthy! Pick up a crusty french bread and let it sop up that ricotta and sausage goodness. The veggies put this simple supper over the top! Your choice of cheese as a topper makes this a hearty meal. Sarah used garlic powder as that’s what she had on hand, but if you have the real deal available, mince it up!
This comes from a recipe called “Pumpkin Stuffed with Everything Good” and is quite flexible depending on what goodness you have on hand.Crumbled bacon, cream, swiss chard and gruyere cheese is a good combo, but there are many others out there! Find your own and enjoy!
A decadent filling makes for a scrumptious Sunday Dinner. Sarah mixed the extra filling into her kale Caesar salad for extra deliciousness.
