The end of August, so hard to believe, with summer winding down I’m happy to say that our shares are not winding down at all! Take a look at share box #12:
There is no slowing down at Springdell that’s for sure. We had our usual picnic with the goats today and picked up our goodies.
- 12 butter and sugar corn
- 2 watermelon
- 2 8ball zucchini
- 8 Paula red apples
- 3 beefsteak tomatoes
- 1 box of purple bumblebee tomatoes
- 8 pickling cukes
- dill heads
- 10 habanero peppers
- 10 banana peppers
- 2 kale
- 2 watermelon
- 2 lettuce
While leaving the farm I took a swing into the stand and was happy to spot this sign:
Soap made locally in Groton, MA called “Sitting in the Sunshine”. These soaps are made with natural products, essential oils and natural color pigments. Awesome! Give them a try, they smelled delicious!
Have a great week everyone, enjoy the produce and share what’s working for you and what’s not, we love to hear from you.
