The “Tell”- Springdell Winter Share Pickup #7

This was a long way to the tell, 3 weeks!  The snows have buried us and we’ve been lucky to be snowed in with such good food!  Here are all the ways that we enjoyed the 7th winter share box of the season.

• 2 1/2 gallons of skim milk from High Lawn Farm, Lee, MA (Sarah got 1 qt half & half and 1 1/2 gallon low fat milk)

• 1 bottle of Our Favorite Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing, Dedham MA (Sarah didn’t get this item)
  • Roasted Beet Carpaccio with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing
  • On every side salad
• 1 pkg of Green Lentils from Baer’s Best in South Berwick, ME. (Jessica didn’t get this item)
  • Slow cooker Lentils and Rice
• 1 pkg goat cheese from Westfield Farm in Hubbardston, MA (Jess got herbed garlic and Sarah got the cranberry orange flavor)
  • Arugula Salad with Beets and Apples
  • In Roasted Beet Carpaccio
  • On Make Your Own Pizzas
• 3-4 bok choy
  • Asian Steak Sandwiches with Quick Pickled Bok Choy
  • Stir-Fried Garlic Bok Choy with Glazed Tofu
• 1 dozen eggs

  • Sweet Potato, Turnip and Parsnip Pancakes

What a delicious share this was!  We are looking forward to seeing what is going to be gracing our share boxes tomorrow.
